Terms & Conditions
Before embarking on a decluttering journey with Clean Living Spaces, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with the following Terms & Conditions, establishing the framework for our collaborative and confidential partnership.
Terms and Conditions

Privacy and Confidentiality
At Clean Living Spaces, we prioritise the confidentiality of your personal information. Before commencing any service, we will transparently communicate about fees and expenses, ensuring they are fair, reasonable, and aligned with the scope of our expertise and the services provided.

All information obtained during our sessions is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Your privacy is our priority, and we will not disclose your identity without your explicit consent, except in situations where it is essential for your safety. A confidentiality statement can be provided for both parties to sign.

By accepting our Terms and Conditions, you grant Clean Living Spaces permission to process your data for the purpose of providing our services. Photography and testimonials, if used, will only be shared with your explicit consent, respecting your privacy preferences.

For personal safety, your name and address may be shared with authorised Clean Living Spaces representatives or family members during onsite sessions.

Client Support and Co-operation
Recognising the uniqueness of each project, we acknowledge that completion times may vary based on factors such as your attention, decision-making ability, and participation. Accurate time estimates are challenging due to the individual nature of each project. Clients are responsible for payments exceeding initial estimates.

To optimise our sessions, we recommend minimising disruptions, including ensuring the absence of pets and young children in the designated working area, where possible. While breaks can be taken as needed, please note these will contribute to the overall session duration.

In cases where sessions overlap with mealtimes, breaks may be necessary, and you will not be charged for this time.

Session Costs
Our sessions are billed at a rate of £45 per hour (minimum 3-hour session), with additional mileage costs as applicable. A detailed quote will be provided after an initial enquiry.

Clients will be informed when the booked time is complete, and any additional time will be charged at the hourly rate (rounded to the nearest 15 minutes) with your consent.

Hourly rates cover decluttering and organisation services only and exclude supply costs.

Prices may undergo periodic adjustments but will not impact pre-booked sessions.

Session Payment and Confirmation
A deposit, dependent on factors like hours booked and travel costs, is required to confirm bookings. Bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of a session deposit.

Full payment, including any additional charges, is due at the end of each session, payable either via bank transfer, card payment (most major bank and credit cards accepted) or cash.
Travel and Mileage Charges
Mileage is charged at 45p per mile for areas over a 20-mile radius of an NN18 postcode, with additional travel time charges if applicable. Clients are responsible for parking costs, and these will be added to the invoice if private parking is unavailable.

Session Changes and Cancellation Policy
Clients may reschedule or cancel sessions with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made outside this timeframe will incur a fee equivalent to the booked session.

Removal of Client Items
While Clean Living Spaces provides guidance, the decision on item retention lies with you. Clean Living Spaces is not liable for possessions discarded. You may arrange for charity donations during sessions, but waste removal is not provided. If you have a large amount to be disposed of, we encourage you to pre-book a skip before our arrival. We can, however, take a car load to a local charity shop with your consent. Clean Living Spaces is not liable for any possessions once they have left your home to be taken to the charity shop.

Advice is given in good faith, and you retain decision-making authority. Clean Living Spaces does not provide psychological counselling, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Recommendations for third-party services are not the responsibility of Clean Living Spaces.

You are required to disclose any information that may impact health and safety. Clean Living Spaces reserves the right to wear protective items where necessary.

We cannot lift heavy items or perform DIY tasks for safety reasons. Please make alternative arrangements if such tasks are required.
